Aloha District 42 (Kapolei, Ho'opili & Ewa Villages),

I firmly believe that an elected official's primary duty is to be accessible and responsive to the needs and concerns of their constituents. To that end, I want you to know that my office is your office. I am here to listen, to understand, and to address the issues that matter most to you and our district.

West O'ahu is a dynamic and growing community, and its progress and development are close to my heart. I recognize the unique challenges and opportunities that lie before us, and I am fully dedicated to ensuring that the voices of local families are heard and represented effectively at the capitol.

With your support and collaboration, I'll work tirelessly to champion the interests of our district, fighting for initiatives that promote sustainable growth, improved infrastructure, quality education, affordable housing, and SAFE communities. VOKA Road Transfer

Requires the Hawaiʻi Housing Finance and Development Corporation to transfer the public roads of the Villages of Kapolei to the City and County of Honolulu by January 1, 2026. Authorizes county police officers to enforce the statewide traffic code on all public streets, roadways, and highways within the State.

COVID Back Pay

Requires state agencies to offer individuals who resigned or were dismissed from employment for not complying with vaccination or testing requirements the option to be reinstated, with back pay, to the position that person held prior to their termination.

NARCAN Classroom Requirement

Requires each Department of Education classroom to be equipped with an opioid antagonist. Requires the Department of Education to train employees on opioid-related drug overdose prevention, recognition, and response and opioid antagonist administration. Appropriates moneys.
